When a Cape Town girl marries an English ship’s captain, what better place to do it in than Langebaan! They chose Die Strandloper as their venue and opted to have their ceremony on the beach surrounded by close friends and family.
Lisa-Jane and Nathan
Lisa-Jane and Nathan were married during the holiday season and were blessed with the most gorgeous day. They chose The Vineyard Hotel as their venue which is elegant and simple, just like Lisa-Jane. She is a quiet, kind, no-fuss girl and I this was so beautifully reflected in the choices for their wedding day. Nathan made her the stationery of her dreams and together they created their perfect day.
Tracy and Marc
Tracy and Marc had a little bit of a stressful build up to their big day, but when the 27th December arrived, none of that mattered anymore!
Alina and Christoph
Alina and Christoph recently visited Cape Town from Germany to enjoy a summer holiday. Being lovers of the outdoors, Christoph arranged a picnic for them at The Twelve Apostles Hotel where he would ask Alina to be his wife.
Linzee and Bronwin
Bronwin proposed to Linzee on a very windy day in Mouille Point and I was lucky enough to be there to capture this special memory for them. I wish you both lots of love and happiness as you start this exciting chapter in your life together. Planned by: The Perfect Proposal
Bianca and Warren
Bianca and Warren were married in December at Forest 44 just outside Stellenbosch. I am so so glad I got to spend the day with this couple, it was so filled with happiness and laughter. I walked away from it feeling content and happy and smiled all the way home!
Theresa and Hentie
I love that I get to share so many life changing moments with people and Theresa and Hentie are one of those couples. I photographed their wedding a few years ago and now I get to share in the memories of their first baby. (Stian was born earlier this week and I can’t wait to meet him). They wanted a farm setting for their shoot as they have decorated their boy’s bedroom with farm elements. Theresa asked me for a picture of the windmill as they had put one on Stian’s bedroom wall. We had alot of fun driving around looking for the perfect spots and I am so happy… Keep Reading
Megan and Claire
I was so excited to book Megan and Claire’s wedding as they had chosen a venue I had always wanted to shoot at, Gelukkie in Paternoster. Once I met the couple I was even more excited! They are such lovely, thoughtful people. Megan is the bubbly one and Claire is shy and private. They are such a lovely blend of personality traits and it makes their relationship unique and grounded.
Jodie and Pieter
Jodie and Pieter were married at Cafe Felix in the charming little town of Riebeek Kasteel. I loved this venue, not only because of their cat mascot, but for it’s warm and welcoming feel. It was perfect for this couple’s intimate wedding and the food was delicious!
Haylee and Michael
I was so excited when Haylee booked me to shoot her and Michael’s wedding for so many reasons. One was that I had met this couple at previous weddings and they are awesome, and two was their choice of venue. I just love Old Mac Daddy in Elgin, it is such a cool unique venue and it suited this couple so well.
