Lisa and Tim came all the way from Germany to tie the knot at a beach house in Kommetjie. They brought along a handful of their closest friends to share a week long holiday and wedding day with them.

Baby Sofia | At Home | Family

Can we just take a moment for a aaahhhhhhh! I have said it before and I will continue to say it, a huge part of why I love my job is being able to share in people’s most special journeys. I have had the immense privilege to shoot Abby and Shane’s wedding, their maternity shoot and now a little at home session with baby Sophia. I spent some time with the little family at home one week day morning, capturing her happy, content moments as well as her not so easy moments 🙂 But isn’t that what raising a little princess is all about?

Louise and Kyle | Tokai | Engagement

Louise and Kyle are getting married! I met this super sweet couple a few months ago to chat about their wedding day and after deciding they wanted an engagement session we settled on Tokai Forest which a favorite location of mine. Louise is so photogenic and Kyle is just happy to be with her and make her smile.

Kim and Riaan | Pampoenkraal | Wedding

Kim and Riaan were married in February in Durbanville. They were blessed with the most amazing day, no wind, gorgeous cloudy skies and gorgeously warm. They have come along way together so their special day was the culmination of many years and some hard times. It was so special to see them come together and finally be husband and wife.

Casey and Ryan | Blouberg | Engagement

Casey and Ryan live in New York, Ryan’s family is in Cape Town and Casey is from the U.K. They recently got engaged and decided to take a trip to Cape Town to celebrate with friends and family on the African continent! Casey’s parents joined in on the trip and I met up with them at Blouberg Beach for a little engagement session. They are such a cool, fun loving couple and despite Ryan not being a fan of having his photo taken, we had a fun little session in the sun.

Cindy-Lee and Leon | Hout Bay | Engagement

I met Cindy-Lee and Leon in Hout Bay for a cold drink and a chat before heading out to the harbour for their engagement session. I loved listening to them excitedly talking about how they met and their wedding day. I felt like I had known them for years, they are both so warm and welcoming. They are so in love and I had such fun spending the afternoon with them. We ended the day off driving along Chapman’s Peak to enjoy the sunset.

Sagrestano Family | Blouberg | Family

This family…what can I say?! I met Jo and Fabio a few years ago when they got married in an intimate ceremony in the Winelands. Now they have the most precious little boy. We met up at the beach at sunrise and got some of my favorite, biggest smile making shots ever!

Bronwyn and Tarren | Tokai | Maternity

I have known Bronwyn since she was 6 years old and now she has her own little girl! It was such a special shoot for me having seen her grow up, meet Tarren and now they are starting a family. Their other daughter, Ellie, tagged along for the shoot and was just a bundle of energy in the forest. She is such a cutie and Bronwyn and Tarren just adore her. Bronwyn has told me that she is now the perfect big sister!

Gisele and Grant | De Uijlenes | Wedding

When Gisele and Grant booked me for their wedding at De Uijlenes just outside Stanford, I was so excited as this is a venue I had been dying to shoot at. They told me they chose it so they could have a full weekend of celebrations with their friends and family. Grant’s birthday fell over the same weekend so they had two very special occasions to celebrate!
