Kudzai and Joakim traveled all the way to Cape Town to say I Do and chose Blue Horizon Estate as their wedding venue. Kudzai is originally from South Africa but moved to Sweden with her parents years ago and that is where she met her prince and fell in love. They journeyed back to share their special day with friends and family.
The ceremony started off with THE most amazing groom’s entrance I have ever seen!! Joakim and his groomsmen skipped down the aisle in the most fancy fashion! This couple both have wonderfully quirky personalities and they didn’t lose that at all during their wedding day. They exchanged vows in front of an ocean view capped off by a gorgeous floral arch. Just as they exchanged their first kiss a little rain started to fall, a perfectly timed blessing.
I spent some time with the bridal party having loads of laughs and at times struggling to get them to focus on the camera!! They were all just so full of fun so making jokes came easily. I then took the couple off for a few couple portraits. I absolutely loved Kudzai’s flower crown and how the rich colours complimented her skin tone. Joakim was only too happy to hold her close and kiss her (in between some laughs of course!)
The reception was colourful and alot of fun! From the couples entrance and first dance to Kudzai’s dance with her father it was fun all the way. Kudzai and her girls changed into different outfits during the evening and treated the guests to more wonderful dancing!! It was so awesome to see Kudzai’s local friends and family welcoming the overseas guests with such open arms. Grabbing them onto the dance floor and making sure every one was part of the fun.
As you two travel through life together, I hope you keep the uniqueness and fun in your relationship. Thank you so much for having me be part of this most special day, I wish you nothing but love and happiness now and forever.
