When Gisele and Grant booked me for their wedding at De Uijlenes just outside Stanford, I was so excited as this is a venue I had been dying to shoot at. They told me they chose it so they could have a full weekend of celebrations with their friends and family. Grant’s birthday fell over the same weekend so they had two very special occasions to celebrate!
They chose a rich toned burgundy as their wedding colour, complete with matching wedding car! Grant chose the colour for his suite too which I loved! He looked so dapper and I love it when grooms think outside the box a little. Gisele’s dress was elegant and romantic but still gave her enough comfort to dance the night away.
The couple exchanged vows under the trees followed by a shower of bubbles as all their nearest and dearest congratulated them. The evening that followed was filled with laughter and happy tears and a special little show put on by the groom! It was such fun seeing this group of friends really just let their hair down to celebrate Gisele and Grant’s marriage.
These two are just the sweetest and goofiest couple! They laughed their way through our photo session showing me how much fun they have together on a daily basis. They found each other in a life that can sometimes be hard, and they appreciate each other dearly.
I wish you guys the most amazing life together. May it be filled with all the laughter and tears of joy you experienced on your wedding day. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it, I am so grateful. xx
