Genevieve and David were married in Elgin in December. One of my favourite places and one of my favorite months, I knew it was going to be a goodie! When I met up with the couple to chat about the day, Genevieve told me that she has done the decor herself and that a few friends would be taking charge and setting it up on the day of the wedding. When I arrived at Elgin River Lodge there was a alot going on! The girls were doing the table flowers and making sure all the ribbons were tied in the correct places. It was so wonderful to see how much all of their friends chipped in to make their day amazing!
Their ceremony was held under the willow trees at the edge of the river and their reception was done in the same way. Festival lights and fire lit the night as the couple shared laughs and made memories with family and friends. It was the perfect summer evening and their dream wedding truly was a gorgeous reality.
I was made to feel so welcome among everyone at the wedding and walked away smiling such a big smile. Thank you Genevieve and David for having me be such a big part of your special day. It was truly an honor and a day I will always remember. Keep laughing and smiling together as you did on your wedding day.
