I was very excited when Petra and Davin booked me to shoot their wedding and then told me it was at Strandkombuis in Yzerfontein! I really love this venue, it offers something so unique and special and I just knew it was going to be gorgeous. Petra has beautiful taste and her decor choices certainly showed that. Everything was romantic and classic and kept with the soft colours that suit the beach so well.
They were both relaxed during their ceremony, exchanging vows on a sun drenched beach surrounded by their family and friends. Daniel, their son, was always close by and ready for a cuddle.
The mist rolled in just before we started with the photo session which gave us some perfectly moody images. I have never seen weather conditions change so fast but it really did aid my shooting!
The evening was filled with fun and laughter and all the guests just having a great time. It was one of those weddings where everyone got along no matter if they knew one another or not. Everyone was there for Petra and Davin and having a good time was the only option.
Thank you both for having me there to capture your memories, it really was special for me. I hope you will look back at these images for the rest of your lives and remember this special day.
