The wedding of Lauren and Clyde was one of those weddings that I just feel completely lucky to have been a part of. I met them for the first time during their engagement shoot a few weeks ago and was immediately taken by just how kind and sweet they are. This carried forward to their wedding day which was a true reflection of this.
They chose Belair Pavilion in the Cape Winelands as their venue. Their decor choice was soft and romantic with Lauren choosing to have her bridesmaids in glamorous gold.
Although they had a little rain on their wedding day, it all worked out just perfectly. We had enough breaks in the rain to capture all the portraits we wanted to. They really deserved the best day and it made my heart so happy that they got it.
Lauren was a truly breathtaking bride and I could have photographed her for hours. Clyde has a special way of making her laugh which reveals the most amazing smile. Their couple portraits were such a breeze! They were so happy to just be in each other’s arms, talk to one another, giggle about shared moments and just be in the moment.
The speeches made during Lauren and Clyde’s reception were filled with words of love and appreciation for this special couple. It really speaks to the kind of people they are, loving and selfless.
