As much as I enjoy photographing a complete wedding, getting to photograph just bridal portraits makes me very happy! It is a favourite part of the wedding day for me but is often rushed and restricted to one location.
Living Coral
The 2019 Pantone Colour of the Year is Living Coral, what a pretty colour it is! One of my favorite Hair and Make-Up artists, Suzanne, asked me to be involved in a shoot showcasing this colour and I jumped at the chance. We picked Gordon’s Bay beach as our location and on the day the wind was howling. It made shooting a little more tricky but I just love the way the wind created movement in the gorgeous tulle of the dress, it was all just magical! I can’t wait to see the use of this colour in weddings in the coming year!
Love In Colour
I am so happy to share these images, they really do make me smile. I love doing styled shoots, they are stressful and take a lot of work by all involved, but the results are so worth it. Thank you to Rockhaven in Elgin who so kindly hosted us for the day. We had a cold and overcast start to the day but it all worked out just perfectly! I wanted to create something romantic and not too structured and I think everyone pulled together to do just that. I hope you enjoy these images and find some inspiration for pretty things you are creating in your life.
