I met up with Pippa from The Perfect Proposal a couple of weeks ago to prepare for a very special day in Anna and Matt’s lives. Matt was going to propose!!! I really love being part of these and this couple just gave me goosebumps!
Matt arranged a surprise long weekend in Cape Town for Anna. He had never been to Cape Town so it was an extra special trip. They landed at the airport and were brought straight to Camps Bay Retreat. Waiting for them down in the valley, was a little table with wine and flowers and a box of treats as well as pictures of their most special moments shared as a couple to date. Matt walked Anna to where the table was an immediately turned her body towards him and held her hands. They shared a short moment together before he got down on one knee to pop the question! She was in total shock, both hands over her mouth. She jumped into his arms before he had a chance to put the ring on and held on to him so tightly. She even did the foot pop, you know, the one you always see in movies when the leading lady gets to kiss her man!
I spent a little time with the newly engaged couple taking some pics. Neither of them could stop smiling and were just so incredibly excited. Their happiness was contagious and I left Camps Bay in the best mood!!
Congratulations Anna and Matt, I hope you are loving being engaged and sharing your story of this proposal. It was so much fun being part of this with you and I am so happy I got to meet you both.
