I have known Michelle and Gareth for a number of years now, we met through a mutual friend and I was so excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding. They are such a fun and warm couple, they know how to laugh at themselves and with each other and I knew it was going to be one special celebration.
They chose a weekend wedding at Pat Busch Mountain Reserve just outside Robertson. Their family and friends joined them on Friday evening for a braai and a chance for everyone to get to know each other. Everyone pitched in helping with last minute set up and putting final touches to decor items. By Saturday morning everyone had formed new friendships and were ready to celebrate Michelle and Gareth’s marriage.
Michelle got ready at Mo & Rose, a gorgeous guest house in the area. It was non-stop laughter from the time I arrived! Michelle was so calm and so excited, she really was a joy to photograph.
The day was just so special and so well suited to them both. Everything was just taken in their stride and the relaxed atmosphere was wonderful.
The reception can only be described in one way….PARTY!!!! Everyone came together to celebrate this couple in the most fun way. Dancing, laughs and plenty of shooters!!

Your future together is bright and your love will carry you through anything that you will face down the road.
